		<description>I would not put salt in until you have tested the water because if it was my pond stinking I would be be doing a bigger water change than 10%. And the salt you put in will be coming straight back out to waste, so my advice is water test first then water change accordingly. remember we keep water and then put fish in it afterwards, if readings are as I expect (HIGH)then a 50% water change day 1 then retest and if needed another on day 2 because you have to thin out the gases in the water. Clean out all leaves etc and clean filters and then add a filter booster to let them catch up again. If you have bottom drains purge daily. I have not lost any fish for years and years and remember learning the hard way so I know it is like. Hope this helps. dave</description>
